Enfora, a provider of intelligent wireless networking solutions today announced that they have added the Spider ATr and Spider ATp to their Spider Asset Tag (AT) product family, which is designed to manage, monitor and track valuable enterprise assets, such as trailers, containers, or supply materials and equipment. The Spider AT product family has been developed specifically to address the need to wirelessly connect remote, untethered assets that are non-powered or have access to power on an occasional basis. The Spider ATr is aimed at recovery applications and provides the capability to track assets through frequent position reporting while still optimizing battery life. Additionally, a built in temperature sensor supports temperature logging and monitoring for those deployments that require visibility to out of range fluctuations. The Spider ATp provides the capability to tie into an external power source, when available, and maintain long life on its internal battery pack. As with other Spider AT products, users of the Spider ATr and ATp are able to retrieve critical information about their assets, including asset movement, based on user-defined alerts, specific events or geofences. The Spider AT is IP66 rated and a version has been ATEX certified for intrinsic safety environments. The Spider ATr and Spider ATp are IP67 rated.
“Many Enterprises are now looking to utilize Machine-to-Machine (M2M) solutions to enhance their business and service models,” said Steve Priestley, vice president, enterprise sales for Enfora. “Our Spider AT family and M2M Services Gateway platform has been specifically designed to easily and wirelessly enable a seamless connection from the asset to the Enterprise.” For more information visit http://www.enfora.com. |
