Proven Modeling Technology From EMRE will be available in leading optimization platform from Invensys
Plano-based Invensys Operations Management, a global provider of technology systems, software solutions and consulting services to the process and manufacturing industries, announced that it has entered into an agreement with ExxonMobil Research and Engineering Company (EMRE) that allows Invensys to sub-license a suite of EMRE's refinery process models to third parties. The suite of models will be delivered through Invensys Operations Management's market-leading SimSci-Esscor optimization software, using its ROMeo solution to enable clients to model and optimize process units.

First device in AFE family reduces component count and power consumption by up to 95 percent for improved system portability and patient mobility
Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) introduced the first in a family of fully integrated analog front ends (AFEs) for portable and high-end electrocardiogram (ECG) and electroencephalogram (EEG) equipment, as well as patient monitoring and consumer medical applications. The eight-channel, 24-bit ADS1298 reduces component count and power consumption by up to 95 percent as compared to discrete implementations, with a power efficiency of 1 mW/channel, while allowing customers to achieve the highest levels of diagnostic accuracy.
