DART is joining organizations around the world in participating from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on March 27. During that time non-essential lights at DART's headquarters building, 1401 Pacific Avenue, will be turned off along with the non-essential lights in numerous Downtown Dallas buildings.
By providing zero-emissions trains and clean-fuel buses, and a growing system of high occupancy vehicle lanes, DART already helps hundreds of thousands of North Texans make every day Earth Day.

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) will participate for the second year in the international Earth Hour campaign later this month as part of its commitment to help raise environmental awareness.
