Pierce Decorative Hardware & Plumbing was founded in Dallas in 1937 in the same Dallas location where you find them today – Snider Plaza near SMU off Hillcrest and Lovers Lane.  This extraordinary company has supplied many of the finest homes in Dallas with decorative hardware and plumbing and has grown to offer a location in Fort Worth and now plans to open in Frisco at The Shops at Starwood in the summer of 2010.

Whether building a new home, remodeling an existing home, or just updating a single room, Pierce Hardware offers expert professional advisors, many of whom have been with Pierce Hardware for more than 20 years. Their selection includes the latest trends in décor from the top quality manufacturers, as well as access to classic styles influenced by European castles and antiques.

This is a significant win for The Shops at Starwood as the ideal site for Pierce Hardware to expand into far North Dallas and beyond.  Pierce Hardware will join the many other retailers that have recently chosen to join the award-winning tenants of The Shops at Starwood and become part of this shopping center’s fast growing reputation as the place for a unique retail and dining experience in the far North Dallas/Frisco area. Other recognized tenants recently locating at The Shops at Starwood include Pappagallo’s Classique, Tupinamba’s Mexican Restaurant and Ginny’s Underworld.

“The team at Pierce Hardware is eager to open this summer at The Shops at Starwood.  The excellent tenant mix and success of specialty retailers and convenient location to the affluent neighborhoods of North Dallas complements our high level of service and unique selection of decorative hardware and plumbing fixtures to enhance any home.  Pierce Hardware is committed to bringing decades of tradition, knowledge and expertise to enrich the decorating and building process for all of its new North Dallas neighbors,” said Mike McKenzie, president of Pierce Hardware.

“The Shops at Starwood welcomes Pierce Hardware to Frisco.  Their rich Dallas history and success will bring a new level of quality decorative and plumbing offerings to Frisco and the surround communities.  The 73 year reputation of Pierce Hardware will complement the already successful group of unique specialty retailers in our center and bring more of these favored Dallas traditions north,” states Kirk Hermansen, developer of The Shops at Starwood.
