C-level leaders will make case for diversity at Multicultural Workforce Conference in Dallas PDF Print E-mail

Six workshops, four high-powered speakers, and a panel of C-level executives will be featured at the Network of Executive Women’s third annual Multicultural Workforce Conference, March 16 to 18 at the W Victory Hotel in Dallas. More than 150 executives and diversity experts are expected to attend the event and  "explore ways to unleash their multicultural, multigenerational and multinational workforces,” the Network announced. Registration for the event is open through March 1.

Cole Brown, chief diversity officer of Walmart will give the opening keynote on March 17.  She will address how diversity and inclusion is changing the retailer/vendor relationship. Andrés Tapia, chief diversity officer of Hewitt Associates, will outline ways to leverage cultural differences for business gain. Andre Hughes, global managing director of Accenture’s Cisco Business Group, will give the closing keynote on March 18. Rosalyn Taylor O’Neale, chief diversity and inclusion officer for the Campbell Soup Company, will give a brief talk during the opening night dinner on March 16.

A leadership roundtable – "The View from the C-Suite: Leveraging D&I to Win in the Marketplace” – will feature Cathy Green, president of Food Lion Family of Banners; Don Knauss, chief executive officer of The Clorox Company; Michael Schlotman, chief financial officer of the Kroger Company; and James White, chief executive officer of Jamba Juice Company.

Six workshops

The conference will include six workshops on women of color; integrating D&I into a organization’s infrastructure; changing corporate culture; multigenerational leadership; global talent management; and using metrics to leverage and measure diversity and inclusion.
