Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip, a premiere dessert café, announces the opening of its newest franchised café at Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm in Allen. This opening marks the sixth franchised café in the Dallas Metroplex.

The prospect of the world’s favorite chocolate chip cookie and Nestlé desserts served up with a little home-baked ambiance has a history of putting customers in a bit of a cookie frenzy. Located in Watters Creek, a unique, resort-style shopping center, the new cafe opened for business on February 23 and had an extraordinary pre-opening weekend as customers sampled a taste of the “Very Best” cookies the café offers. From the menu, guests are tempted to indulge themselves in the definitive taste of famous Nestlé Toll House cookies, incredible cookie cakes, mouth-watering brownies and made-to-order ice cream sandwiches. Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, Nescafé dessert coffees, and Nestlé Pure Life Water accompany the simple fare done well. Customers can place orders online for cookies and cookie cakes by visiting www.nestlecafe.com.

Could it have been the indulgent turtle brownie or the classic Toll House chocolate chip cookie that won the heart of the Watters Creek location Franchisee, Faisal Khan? Whatever the temptation, it was love at first bite. “It is a great opportunity for me to expand into multiple stores with this successful concept. The support team is very professional and helpful to us. Our decision to be a Franchisee with this concept is one of the best decisions we’ve ever made,“ explains Khan. Faisal Khan and his wife Beenish are seasoned multi-unit Subway franchisees.

“We are excited about establishing a relationship with the Allen community and are proud to have the Khans as a part of our Franchise family. We look forward to welcoming our neighbors for breakfast, lunch and dinner treats, providing an unforgettable dessert experience, and becoming an important part of the Allen community,” said Valerie Shropshire, Director of Marketing for Crest Foods, Inc and Franchisor of Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip.

All 95 national locations in 24 states and Puerto Rico are franchisee-owned along with our new International location in Lebanon. Three cafes have opened in the last month with six more slated to open before the mid-2010. Shropshire said Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip has done well focusing on high-quality Nestlé branded desserts, such as the Toll House chocolate chip cookie cake, and by staying away from the heavy discounting offered by many of its quick-serve competitors.
